F L Weber is a pianist and performer with 30+ years of professional playing experience. He has been performing in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and since 2001 also in Atlanta, Chicago and more frequently in Columbus, Ohio. Appreaciated by an old and young audience alike, F L Weber’s music is an eclectic mix of standards, jazz, blues, pop, classical and original songs. Weber has been playing more frequently in Columbus since 2008 and was also booked for weddings, corporate events, private parties, retirement homes, churches and restaurants. He can be heard at the Thai Orchid restaurant, Chik Fil A, Polaris Hilton Hotel, Wesley retirement homes, Emeritus at Pinnacle, Friendship Village and many other venues.
Born in Bavaria, Weber was educated as a classical pianist His Grandmother, similarly trained, was influential in his early musical life. Leaving school at the age of 17, he was drawn into more contemporary music, performing with various ensembles and artists inGermany and throughout Europe. During these touring years, Weber became more interested in writingmusic and less in performing, evolving into an acclaimed composer, songwriter and producer. He has composed many hit songs successful not only in Germany but also in the United States, England, Brazil and Japan. Weber moved to the United States to continue his musical life in Atlantaand later in Columbus, Ohio as an arranger and record producer. While composing in various genres, he found his love for new age (meditative instrumental) and minimalist piano music.
